The Amalfi Coast conquers your heart and your taste buds in one breathtaking sweep. With every winding road, pastel-hued village, and sparkling sea view, it draws you in—romantic, timeless, and impossibly beautiful. But it’s not just the scenery that leaves you spellbound; the flavors of the coast tell a story all their own.
Imagine the scent of lemon groves drifting through the air, the tang of fresh citrus on your tongue. Picture hand-rolled pasta kissed by the sea, paired with the sweetness of sun-ripened tomatoes and a drizzle of golden olive oil. From delicate pastries in tucked-away cafes to seafood so fresh it still tastes of salt and sunlight, every bite is a celebration of tradition, passion, and the simple joys of life.

Is this your in your bucket list save this post for a few tips, where to stay and where to eat.
Praiano, in between Amalfi and Positano. Less know than the other towns, not only offers stunning views and Italian charm, but it’s nowhere near as crowded as Amalfi and Positano.
From the San Gennaro church in town ( explore the church because it’s beautiful ) , follow the path on the right side , a road called Via Casa Rispoli or the signs leading Alla spiaggia, to the beach!
On the right side you will find the most charming hotel called Tramonto d’Oro ( 38 rooms only).
If you continue the tiny path it will lead you to the beach, there are 400 steps to get down so make sure you have everything with you! You will end up in Gavitella beach where there is a delicious, restaurant & beach club. Boat tours are available from here too.
(If this makes you dream already read the full article on my website because I also discovered a secret Airbandb right on the sea.)

If you are looking for a more secluded and authentic stay this is my suggestion
Pied dans l eau, the living room opens directly over the water, with three large windows framing the sea. Nestled in the clouds and overlooking the sea.
Access to the property with a private escalator that takes you to a tunnel carved into the rock or via the ancient stone staircase.
